VODACOM Tanzania has launched a new mega promotion programme that will see one lucky customer win a 100m/- cash prize.
Other
customers stand a chance to win 20m/-, 5.0m/- or 1.0m/- in the new
promotion programme dubbed ‘Kamata Mpunga’, a Swahili slang for ‘grab
money’ that will last 140 days whereas a total of 615m/- is to be won,
the telephone company said in a statement.
“Vodacom
Tanzania is expecting to make life better for Tanzanians through the
Kamata Mpunga promo as those who will win the money will be able to
invest the amount in any lucrative entrepreneurial project and therefore
manage to generate more income.”
The
‘Kamata Mpunga’ promotion followed a similar campaign last year known
as Jaymillions where millions of shillings were grabbed by vodacom
customers. Previously Vodacom Tanzania has also conducted a number of
promotions like ‘Timka na bodaboda’ and ‘Mahela’ which saw a student of
Kigoma Education College walk away with 100m/-.
Besides
the 100m/- grand prize to be won at the end of the promo, every other
day from Monday to Saturday 3 Vodacom customers will win 1m/- in cash,
while every Sunday one lucky customer will win 5m/- and at every end of
the month throughout the 140 days of the promotion one customer will
walk away with 20m/-.
